I loved having a fast-paced environment. I also loved getting to know returning costumers and being able to talk to different people every day.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more one on one training involved. I was sometimes thrown into the deep end of the pool on learning different drinks, which was extremely difficult during peak hours.
Advice
Advice I would give someone is to always put a smile on your face. Even when the day seems long and hard and smile feels instantly better and lifts the spirits around you. When you lift others around you, you are lifted in return.

Advice
I’m currently still working there and I encourage anyone who wants to have their school payed for and to be dealt free to apply to Starbucks and go to school through them.

Cashier
June 2019 • Miami Lakes, FL
What I liked
I liked to get to know the costumers and their drinks, I can safely say I remember about more than 50 costumers and for the lost part, their drinks.
What I wish was different
Maybe the management we currently have. We have switched managers about 4 times since I have been hired and since they are all different the management styles were also different which was messy.
Advice
Starbucks is a very attentive company and they attend to employees needs very often with great efforts, but maybe being more selective with the managers they assign to every store will benefit everyone in an even higher way.
