I wish that I worked more often in order to solildify my position and build/maintain relationships with others.

I would advise to volunteer as much as possible, especially doing what no one does. People notice all the time if you are willing to do the dirty work.

I like getting the chance to connect with my customers. Regular customers are great because we get to know them as people and hear about their lives. Other customers are great because they're willing to try new things, so you can recommend something that could be their new favorite drink!

The people were great, the job was fast-paced and entertaining, and connecting with customers was always fun and meaningful.
What I wish was different
Though the pay was not too bad and I worked full-time for the most part, I wish I had been able to work overtime and that the hourly wage was more competitive.
Advice
There is so much to learn. Expect anything---from angry customers to customers who want to pay for the car behind them in the drive through---I have learned every experience can bring value and growth to your professional development. Be open and willing to try new things and always be honest and live up to your company's values.

The management had a lot of personal squabbles and communication issues. If they had been more coordinated, the workload would have been more bearable.

Keep your aprons clean in between shifts.

Pick a part time/retail job that you like so that "just making money" is still fun. While it doesn't further my skill in my field of interest, it was still enjoyable and I looked forward to going to work.
